Richard B. Rogich
With over 35 years of trial experience, Rick Rogich has developed an outstanding reputation as a trial advocate in the greater Chicago area. A member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Society of Trial Lawyers. Rick’s practice focuses on the prosecution of all facets of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He has successfully obtained multi-million dollar awards and verdicts in cases involving construction injuries, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, medical malpractice, products liability and employment discrimination.
Rick is also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization, whose membership consists of highly-skilled trial attorneys who have exhibited integrity and exemplary personal character. A former Adjunct Professor at IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law and The John Marshall Law School, he taught Trial Advocacy, Lawyering Skills and Medical Malpractice. Rick’s cases have been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, The Daily Herald and The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Many other accomplishments have been highlighted by various television news outlets, including ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, as well as various cable television networks. As lead trial counsel, Rick has obtained record-setting verdicts in cases involving: negligent spinal surgery; failure to diagnose stomach cancer and construction injuries. His record breaking $5.6 million verdict in a medical malpractice case was recognized by the Illinois Jury Verdicts as one of the outstanding verdicts in Illinois.
Among many other projects, Rick spearheads nursing home abuse and neglect litigation, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified AODA Counselor in Illinois and Wisconsin.
